WHAT: Warner Bros. Pictures presents, in association with Village
Roadshow Pictures, a Vertigo Entertainment production of an
Alejandro Agresti film: Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock in "The
Lake House," starring Dylan Walsh, Shohreh Aghdashloo and
Christopher Plummer. Directed by Alejandro Agresti from a
screenplay by David Auburn, "The Lake House" is produced by
Doug Davison and Roy Lee, based on the motion picture "Il
Mare" produced by Sidus. Executive producers are Mary
McLaglen, Erwin Stoff, Dana Goldberg and Bruce Berman. The
director of photography is Alar Kivilo, A.S.C., C.S.C.; and

When an independent-minded doctor (Sandra Bullock) who once
occupied an unusual lakeside home begins exchanging letters
with its newest resident, a frustrated architect (Keanu
Reeves), she discovers that, incredibly, they are living two
years apart in the romantic drama "The Lake House." As they
begin to reveal more of themselves to one another through
their continuing correspondence, they find themselves
falling in love. Determined to bridge the distance between
them and unravel the mystery behind their extraordinary
romance they tempt fate by arranging to meet. But, by
trying to join their two separate worlds, they could risk
losing each other forever.

Sandra Bullock's Back

'Miss Congeniality' herself, SANDRA BULLOCK, is back on the big screen this summer in 'The Lake House,' reuniting her with her 'Speed' soul mate KEANU REEVES, and our own JANN CARL's got her!

"For some reason it works with him," Sandra tells Jann about the on-screen chemistry between her and Keanu. "I don't know why. I didn't know the first time and we were on a bus."

'The Lake House' is a romantic drama about a house that connects two lovers separated in time through a mysterious mailbox. The movie is a remake of the enchanting Korean film 'Siworae.'

Sandra plays a strong-minded but extremely single doctor who once occupied an unusual house by the lake. Keanu co-stars as a depressed architect who currently resides in the lakeside abode. The two connect after Sandra leaves a note in the mailbox -- intended for the new owner -- that travels back in time. They begin exchanging letters and find themselves falling in love.

But there's just one small problem -- each of them are living in a different year! The couple must unravel the secret to their extraordinary romance before time runs out. The romantic adventure with a strange twist also stars DYLAN WALSH ('We Were Soldiers'), SHOHREH AGHDASHLOO ('X-Men: The Last Stand'), and CHRISTOPHER PLUMMER ('Inside Man').

Sandra's new romantic adventure arrives in theaters June 16, and in this week's Vanity Fair, the 41-year-old actress opens up about everything from her late mother to her marriage to "Monster Garage" man JESSE JAMES.

"You're going to celebrate an anniversary soon. Any plans?" Jann asks Sandra as she approaches the one-year mark with her man.

"We'll do something we've never done before," Sandra answers.

"What's left?" inquires Jann.

"The world!" exclaims Sandra.
