Sandy at Glamour Women of the Year Awards

It was an emotional night for Sandy at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards where she was honored as The Undercover Activist for her quiet million dollar donations to charities following September 11th (2001) and the Indian Ocean Tsunami in December 2004. Accepting her red trophy at New York City's Carnegie Hall, Bullock thanked her fellow Women Of The Year - An Inconvenient Truth producer Laurie David, Rachael Scdoris, Somaly Mam, Iman, Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori, Billie Jean King, Katie Couric and Angela, Rosita and Mergherita Missoni. She said, "Bishop - all I can say to you is it's about damn time. Billie Jean King for some reason I don't play tennis, but I try - I try really hard. Rachael - You're my hero, you amaze me, I can't even make it to the gym."

Sandy at 10th Annual Hollywood Film Awards!

Sandra Bullock is following the trend and showed up wearing a stunning red Angel Sanchez dress to the 10th Annual Hollywood Film Festival and Hollywood Awards earlier this evening. She was honoured with an award, the "Hollywood Supporting Actress of the Year Award" for Infamous. You can find pictures of Sandy at the 10th Annual Hollywood Awards here.

Baby Rumours

Sandra Bullock is continously asked if there is a baby on the way. During the Toronto International Film Festival Gala Presentation of "Infamous" in September she was stopped by a journalist from a celebrity weekly magazine who asked if there was a baby on the way. "Oh my god that is just a disgusting question," yelled an angry Sandy. "And you know what? What if I couldn't have kids? You know what? That's the way you make women feel when you ask them that question." That's a harsh but indeed true answer.

New Sandra Bullock Comedy Movie!

Sandra Bullock's newest project, which she will also produce, is called All About Steve. Written by Kim Barker, the broad comedy revolves around a "brilliant but eccentric crossword-puzzler" who stalks a TV cameraman across the country. Production will begin early 2007.

Infamous New York Premiere

Sandra Bullock appearance on Tonight Show!

Sandy will once again appear on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on october 12th, 11:35 pm on NBC. Also on the guest list is her Miss Congeniality co-star Michael Caine. Stay tuned for a recording of the show if you miss it accidently ;-)

New Sandra Bullock DVDs

The Thing Called Love (Director's Cut) is now available as region 2 DVD. Also Kevin Bacon's low-budget movie Loverboy, in which Sandra Bullock is a supporting actress, is out on DVD (region 1)!

The Lake House DVD

The Lake House is out now on DVD (US). The region 2 version is due October 9th at Amazon UK. The DVD features include deleted scenes and outtakes as well as the theatrical trailer.

Infamous

Infamous, the movie, as well as Sandy's performance as Harper Lee has gotten very good reviews. The Independant's David Thomposon says "You thought it was too soon for another Capote movie? Think again ... The best movie I've seen this year is about writer Truman Capote". The soundtrack is sounding promising as well! The movie poster opens October 13th in the US. There is a lot of Oscar buzz around Infamous but let's cross that bridge when we get to it ;)
