Miss Congeniality 2 made 3,1 million dollars on its opening day in the US. The Sandra Bullock movie made 14,51 million dollars on its opening weekend.

Dylan Walsh will replace John Corbett in the Sandra Bullock project Il Mare. He will play her former fiance in the movie. Sandra Bullock is on cover of the current issue of Metro Life in the UK. She is also on the cover of the current US InStyle magazine!

I am on vacation for a few days now so I won't do any updates. When I am back I add new pictures of Marie Claire, Close Up and other magazines. I will also add the Miss Congeniality 2 Premiere Galleries with many HQ pictures. Sky News reports that Hugh Grant will do a movie with Sandra Bullock for which the script is written by himself and he will be behind the camera mainly. On the question why Hugh Grant chose Sandra Bullock he just answered "Because she is fabulous".
March 17th, 2005Sandra Bullock on the Walk of Fame
After much speculation a few years ago it seems that Sandra Bullock will finally get her star on the Walk of Fame on March 24th right next to Keanu Reeves´ star who she will star with in Il Mare. March 24th is also the nationwide US-release date of her new blockbuster Miss Congeniality 2. Thanks to Noelia for this information!

March 14th, 2005Miss Congeniality 2 Premiere and Release Dates Updated
The Brazilian premiere of Miss Congeniality 2 has been pushed back to April 1st and also the Every Word is True premiere is now set to be in September 2006. On a side note Mark Ruffalo has dropped out of this Sandra Bullock project.
The New York premiere of Loverboy has been set to May 20th, 2005.
Finally I "met" Sandra Bullock
I posted this story on the German version a few days already and now I share it with the English speaking visitors as well. On March 10th I've been to the Berlin premiere of Miss Congeniality 2 (Miss Undercover 2 in Germany) with the 10 winners of our contest from sandrabullock.de. We've been the first on the red carpet who went to the cinema, between cameras and hundreads of fans. Unfortunately we had to leave our premiere tickets at the entrance and exchange them to pretty normal cinema tickets. There was an awesome atmosphere in the Sony Center and everything was covered with big Miss Congeniality 2 and Sandra Bullock posters. When we arrived in the cinema we had to put away all electronical devices, that's why we couldn't film or take photographs from this moment on unfortunately. Inside the cinema everything looked like a Las Vegas casino and we got free drinks like Margaritas! Warner Bros. really made the whole place an awesome spot for the premiere.
Since ARD (the biggest German TV station) interviewed me about being a fan and things like that it was a pretty amazing evening just because of that already. After talking to the security they first allowed us to stay on the red carpet until Sandra Bullock arrives so I can go to her and get an autograph and ARD can film it. Although in the last moment the security told us to go inside because Sandra Bullock arrived too late and they don't have enough time anymore. But the best comes last hehe, we went inside the cinema and sat down in the first row and just a few minutes later Sandra Bullock came in to presnt the movie on the stage and it was so awesome because I was just sitting like 2 meters from her! So it wasn't that bad in the end that I didn't get an autograph since I could see her the first time in real life from such close distance, it was definitely a cool experience. I am sure next time I meet her I also get an autograph.

The Sydney premiere attended by Sandra Bullock will be March 17th at 6.30pm, next Thursday at Greater Union Bondi Junction. Sandra Bullock will greet the fans on the red carpet before the premiere. March 2nd, 2005Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves reunite
The Chicago Sun Times reports that Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves who reunite in their new movie Il Mare (their first movie together since Speed) will be seen at Artist´s Cafe on South Michigan Avenue for filming the movie.
March 1st, 2005Every Word is True Update
Some big name actors are in Central Texas shooting a major motion picture. The movie is called "Every Word is True" and production started Monday in Marlin.
It's a sight even the most seasoned Marlin residents couldn't believe: Sandra Bullock and Toby Jones at the Falls County Courthouse shooting a big Hollywood production.
Marlin Main Street Manager Amanda Jeffers says, "It was our courthouse that attracted them to Marlin. We have a pretty unique courthouse."
City officials say the production company chose Marlin because of the old-fashioned look of the building.
The movie is a 1960s true story about writer Truman Capote and his relationship with two convicted murders from Kansas who he later writes about in his book ‘In Cold Blood’. Robert Tindle watched the production all morning from his Farm Bureau Insurance business across the street from the courthouse.
Tindle says, "We can hardly get any work done. We're all at the window looking out. We know almost all the extras in the movie."
About 100 extras were used, many of them Falls County residents. Jerry Bass brought his 1948 fire truck from Mart to be used in the film.
"It's just fun to be involved," he says. "I've never been in anything like this before."
Highway 7, the main street through Marlin, was shut down periodically throughout the day. All the focus has city officials smiling all the way to the bank.
"It's good, it's exciting," Jeffers says. "It brings a lot of people to town."
They hope all this publicity translates out to future big bucks for Marlin. Production will resume Tuesday, when they will be shooting inside the courthouse.
