The much critically acclaimed motion picture "Crash" which also stars Sandra Bullock has been nominated for 5 Oscars for the 78th Academy Awards. Unfortunately Sandra Bullock is not nominated. Although it´s also not that big of a surprise that Sandy is not nominated for her role in the film since we reported numerous times in advance already that it probably won´t happen. ET Online reports star wedding secrets
"Sandra (Bullock) was very clear from the beginning," Jesse James explains. "She wanted something soft, ethereal and in some way very, very traditional."
After looking at 25 of her dresses, the 'Miss Congeniality' star chose a gown that featured a fitted bodice and an A-line skirt -- a creation that took eight seamstresses four months to finish.
"The Sandra Bullock dress is all about layers and different fabrics," Sanchez reveals. "With silk tulle, French lace, layers of organza and different layers. The dress moves so beautiful because it's very light."
And for her walk down the aisle, Sandra added her own personal touch, much to Sanchez's approval. "When I saw her cowboy boots they were beautiful," he says of her satin footwear. "And I think that dress I will always remember as Sandra."
Unfortunately there are no pictures of the dress included with the article!

January 15th, 2006Sandra Bullock supports "BUENDNIS.PALAST"
The German local newspaper "Berliner Kurier" reports that Sandy supports a movement against the demolishing of the "Palast der Republik" in the center of Berlin next to the Humboldt university, the dome and the opera.
The building was a monument in Berlin during the "German Democratic Republic" (GDR) and wasn't cared for much afterwards. It is now scheduled to be demolished for a hefty 20 million euros. Sandra Bullock might like the cool, lightning bronze shape of the front. The article doesn't say why she supports the "BUENDNIS.PALAST" though which is a group of people who are against demolishing the old monument. The official website also lists Sandra Bullock alongside other supporters.
