Infamous World Premiere

Infamous premieres at the Venice Film Festival in Italy. The movie has been getting a lot of buzz and it certainly is a movie that is in the same category as Crash, quality wise. The movie opens across the US on October 13th, 2006. Download the Infamous Trailer (QuickTime).

Famous: Hollywood's Leading Ladies

"Famous" is a cable Biography Channel series of superficial half-hour profiles of the title stars (Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, Renee Zellweger, Meg Ryan). There are four shows on each disc, with no film clips but lots of red-carpet and promotional interviews. The DVD is set to be released on August 29th, 2006.

Sandra Bullock and Jesse James donate!

Sandy and Jesse donated to the Warren Easton Foundation. The Warren Easton High School Charter Foundation received a generous donation from Sandra Bullock and Jesse James. Funds will be used to assist the Foundation with renovations and the purchase of equipment and supplies for the historic New Orleans school badly damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
Sandy said "it is heart warming to see so many people contributing their time, energy, and money to bring renewed hope and opportunity to those in the greatest need after the tragedy of Katrina."
The 93-year-old building, which has received Louisiana Landmark status, is undergoing $3 million in repeairs overseen by Alvarez and Marsal and executed by Contructions Masters, Inc.
Warren Easton will open as a charter school on September 7th, 2006 with an enrollment of 800 students. The school's reputation of academic excellence, high attendance, low dropout rate and high graduation rate were all factors that earned the school National Blue Ribbon designation by the United States Department of Education.

Infamous at Toronto Film Festival

SBO reports that Infamous will be featured at the
2006 Toronto International Film Festivel from September 7th to 16th.

Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves win Teen Choice Award

Sandy and Keanu got a Teen Choice Award for their romantic drama The Lake House which can still be seen in some cinemas. They won the Teen Choice Award 2006 in the category "Choice Liplock ". I hope Sandy's husband wasn't too jealous about that! Sandy definitely has a cool collection of surf boards at home now as they had a specially designed surf board as prize again.

The Lake House DVD
