August 25th, 2005Sandra Bullock will receive Humanitarian Award.
Sandra Bullock is recognized by Fashion Group – but not for her style. The actress will receive a humanitarian award for her charitable contributions to the American Red Cross.
Last year, Sandra Bullock donated $1 million this year to help the relief efforts in southern Asia and eastern Africa, which were affected by the tsunami and earthquakes.
In 2001, Sandra Bullock had also given $1 million to the American Red Cross to help the relief efforts after the Sept. 11 attacks. This year´s Night of Stars gala, to take place in New York on October 27, will also honor fashion designers Valentino, Ralph Rucci, Olivier Theyskens, Alberta Ferretti and makeup artist Pat McGrath

Sandra Bullock received a Teen Choice Award from Regina King for her perfomance in Miss Congeniality 2 for Choice Movie Actress Comedy. This is another title in a long row of earlier wins at the TCA!

Actress Sandra Bullock serves customers pastries at the grand opening of her sister´s bakery, Gesine´s Confectionary, in Montpelier, Vt., Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005.
Both Bullock and the pastries turned out to be big draws because the pastries sold nearly as fast as Bullock's sister, shop owner Gesine Prado, could churn.
